whenever i hear this song on the the LoveFilm advert, i get a little tingle down my spine.  Originally written by Steve Winwood, this cover of ‘Higher Love’ has something rather magical about it.  James Vincenet McMorrow you do have a lovely voice.

ok, so i might have a small obsession with this man.  It started out as an addiction to HOUSE M.D (only started watching this recently, i pick up on trends quite late, clearly) on the plus side i have 7 more series to watch and you have none muhahahaha.  It has now escalated to me finding myself in HMV buying Hugh Laurie’s blues album ‘Let Them Talk’ both feed my addiction rather well.

just listened to it from start to finish.  It is a wonderful dedication to Amy, the most beautiful soul singer of our generation.  Her voice and lyrics will continue to inspire me to write and sing. what a beautiful creature, a great tragedy and loss to music, but a voice that will be listened to for decades to come.

I recently fell in love with hugh laurie after becoming slightly addicted to House.  He can also sing and play blues.  Can he get any better?  I think he might have just out done Stephen Fry.  I never thought anyone could!  Well, come on, they are best friends!
